Amphitec Vortex 18000 Suction Excavation (Saugbagger) truck for handling dry and wet materials. The Vortex body is built on a heavy duty 8X4-4 Mercedes-Benz truck chassis, first registered in November 2017. Double pump suction power in combination with deep vacuum capabilities, promote rapid material loosening and tank loading. Tank loading activities are supported by the heavy duty excavation boom, that is radio remote controlled. Both vacuum pumps are driven by the trucks flywheel PTO drive. The Vortex 18000 is equipped with Hi-Lift functionality to lift the rear end of the tank in order to facilitate tank discharge or to empty in a container. Water jet cleaning around the vehicle is available via the 50L/120 bar high pressure installation. ATEX 2D certification of the body, including earth grounding device; ET-4D2 Gas detection system; Displayed working hours on the operating panel: 11.500.
