The Kubota KX161-3S excavator is a 6-ton class small hydraulic excavator developed by Kubota Corporation of Japan, and promoted in the Chinese market by Kubota Construction Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. It is suitable for narrow-space operation scenarios such as municipal engineering and agricultural and forestry renovation [1-2] [4]. As a product of Kubota’s more than 50 years of technical accumulation in the small excavator field, this model has an operating weight of 5675kg, comes standard with a 0.22m³ bucket, and is equipped with a Kubota V2403-M engine with a rated power of 34.6kW/2200rpm [4]. This model adopts a zero-tail swing structure, with the tail swing radius not exceeding the width of the vehicle body.
