Boom and Boom The front structure is constructed from high-tensile-strength steel for maximum digging force. All pins used in the front linkage have a thick chrome plating to effectively prevent wear and noise, extending pin and boom life. The diameter of each pin is maximized to smoothly distribute shear and lateral loads associated with the boom during demanding digging operations. The pins are used with a low-maintenance bushing assembly to reduce pin wear and extend lubrication intervals.
