Cab Mounted Guard The Cabcare cab protection is similar in design to the chassis protection and has many of the same key features. The roof protection is mounted using the same mounting points provided by the cab manufacturer. The windshield hangs from the roof racks and is bolted to the underside of the cab. Any impact with debris is absorbed by the protection and transferred to the cab. This means that any impact can cause damage to the cab or its mountings due to this energy transfer. This type of protection can only be certified for newer cabs that are FOPS-certified by the manufacturer. The key features of the Cabcare protection are: The roof extends over the front grille, providing greater protection for the front grille from falling objects and improving visibility. The pointed roof racks allow the skylight to be opened for better visibility when working above the cab. The front grille is mounted away from the windshield. This makes it easy to clean the window and install vandal-resistant protection. The removable front grille improves visibility when front protection is not required. No need to attach it to the cabin; no welding is required. Easy to assemble and remove.
