The larger the drum, the larger the concave, so the grains that "come in" are pressed and rubbed through the concave for a longer period of time, more slowly, and with less pressure. This reduces grain breakage and increases the combine's productivity. The stone trap opens from the side and the stones fall out on their own, so there is no need to remove them separately, just press the handle down. Threshing takes place in separate augers – cultivators, and the grain is returned to the shaking board (not the drum), so there is no additional load on the engine and drum, the engine power is distributed intelligently, and the grain is less damaged. The combine harvester has a frame structure and tow loops, so it would be difficult to bend or damage the frame.
